<p>A person&#8217;s diet determines how much they get out of life. It might not be new to know that what a person takes in is what they use to work, think and ultimately find their place in the world. If a person eats things that are full of empty calories, based only on what is convenient to them they find that <span id="more-207"></span>in their lives, they have to settle and compromise to get less than what they wanted.</p>
<p>Dieting tips can&#8217;t be given by just anybody. Every one has a body type and their own routines so what one eats might be enough for them to have the energy to do the less than physically demanding work. So it follows that dieting tips are just guides. Checking if they fit one&#8217;s lifestyle or the demands of it is important to make sure that one is not left with less energy or with excess fats.</p>
<p>The first thing that a person needs to do is to actually see a dietician or a nutritionist. Knowing how healthy a person is before he starts on any kind of diet is important because in the examination, they are able to find out what body type they have. Each body type has a specific need and there are exercises that are more effective to them as well.</p>
<p>Dieting tips are useless if a person is not aware on how it might affect their taste, needs and actions. The more then know about how their body reacts to what one eats the lesser are the chances that one would go back to their old eating habits.</p>

<p>1. Proper hydration. <br />No, ladies, coffee is not water. Sodas and juices would not take the place of water. So drink a lot of it while you are dieting. But this doesn&#8217;t mean you drink JUST water. There are nutrients that your body needs that cannot be found in water alone.</p>
<p>2. Fruity Deserts <br />There is an abundance of flavor that can be found in fruits. If you are craving for something sweet, sour or salty, there is a fruit that can ease your craving. It is a healthy way to appease your taste buds without ingesting too much processed flavors.</p>
<p>3. The higher the frequency the lesser the amount of food intake <br />If you are always on the go and find that you barely have time to eat an actual meal, then it is best to have a sandwich quartered or in tiny canape sizes in a food container that you can bring to work or to wherever you are going. This are bits and boots of energy in a munch. This makes sure that you don&#8217;t dive into food as soon as you have the time for it.</p>
<p>These simple dieting tips would enhance any kind of program your nutritionist would recommend.</p>

<p>Being healthy is important &#8211; Fast weight loss diets should be safe or they are not worth trying. A safe diet should include all daily recommended allowances of vitamins and minerals, as well as protein and fiber. Not following nutritional guidelines can lead to malnourishment and other long term health problems.</p>
<p>Get enough calories- It is very important to not cut your calories too low. By cutting your calories to less than 1,000 per day for woman and 1,600 per day for men, you can cause irreversible harm to your body. Never go below this number per day or for long periods of time. Cutting your calories too low can cause your metabolism to malfunction, thereby stalling your weight loss efforts. It can also cause many other side effects that can do more harm than good.</p>
<p>Eating fruit and veggies &#8211; If you find fast weight loss diets that stress eating fruits and vegetables, they are probably going to work well for you while making sure you are not jeopardizing your health. Fruits and veggies provide many vitamins, minerals, and fiber which are required for optimal health.</p>
<p>Low fat is what you should aim at &#8211; Low fat diets stress the negativity of fats in the diet. While it is true that the body does need a little bit of fat every day, consuming even a moderate amount of fat per day can lead to many health problems, including heart disease, stroke, high blood pressure and more.</p>
<p>Taking dairy product is important- low fat dairy products are actually good for you, contrary to what some diet experts say. Dairy is great for curbing the appetite, provides much needed calcium to the body. Studies show that by consuming foods such as yogurt, cheese, and milk can slow the formation of fat cells and boosts the metabolism.</p>
<p>Eat moderate meat- or at least some kind of protein. Protein helps the body to build and repair tissue and muscles, make hormones and other imperative functions throughout the body. Remember though, that too much animal protein can cause damage to some of our vital organs, and should only be eaten in moderation, if at all.</p>
<p>Be sure to research the diet you choose before deciding on any diet. As always, before trying any of these or other fast weight loss diets, it is very important to visit your doctor so that you can be sure you are healthy enough to diet in this way.</p>

Does this sound good?<br />want to lose some weight, but I had a reeeally hard time doing that after I had my son. I gained 45lbs with this pregnancy, and I was 30lbs over weight already. I&#039;ve lost some weight just from having the baby and losing the extra water weight, about 19lbs so far. </p>

I haven&#039;t started working out yet, but I plan on doing about 30 minutes of cardio a day nearly every day as soon as I feel up to it. </p>

<p>Again,drugs are contributing to increase in obesity.As we make medical advances,the increased use of drugs to manage certain conditions has led to an increase in obesity.Certain drugs for certain conditions such as diabetes,depression,psychosis,hormonal replacements,e.t.c have been know to lead to weight gain and eventually to obesity.</p>
<p>Finally,age is important factor to consider,although,we now see obesity throughout the age spectrum.Obesity is more common in adults even though some children are obese.It is now shocking to learn that there is a tremendous increase in teenage obesity.This is a worrying fact !</p>
<p>As an overview of the facts about the causes of obesity ,these factors may work in a relationship or singly to lead to obesity.</p>

<p>The increasing obesity issues in our country have turned the attention of many people towards exploring new means of loosing weight. Many people have exploited this trend and today one finds numerous weight loss diet plans that promise the moon. The innumerable options for loosing weight that one can find cover weight loss diets, diet pills, body wraps, health spas and even weight loss surgery. The weight loss diets themselves range from more <span id="more-171"></span>popular ones like Atkins diet and GM diet to others like the South Beach weight loss diet. Some programs suggest a low fat intake whereas others recommend a low carb curriculum. The latest fad going around is the low glycemic index weight loss diet. There are also the meal replacements and meal providers that have found favor with many.</p>
<p>The choices offered are so abundant that one is often left confused about which one to chose for oneself. Though there are many testimonials going around, one does not know what combination of weight loss diet and change in lifestyle actually caused the weight loss. Also, though the details of the weight loss diet are mentioned, the manner in which it works is either not specified or extremely vague and ambiguous. To add to it all, most of these weight loss diet plans are temporary and short lived, the effect of which wears off in a few months. This yoyo effect is caused by the fact that most of these weight loss diets do not address the core of the issue. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Studies have shown that if you are starving yourself, then you aren’t losing weight effectively.  That doesn’t mean that you should just eat anything that you have a craving for, and not eat within moderation.  Yet, it does mean that if you are subscribing to a weight loss strategy that has you missing meals and starving your body, then it will turn out poorly for your overall health.  Breakfast is a meal that many people miss eating, t<span id="more-181"></span>o the detriment of their weight loss goals.  </p>
<p>A meal that Americans are having trouble eating is a healthy breakfast.  Studies have shown that a well balanced breakfast is a keystone to a healthy diet and lifestyle.  Many people who are trying to lose weight miss manage breakfast, and that leads to failure in their weight loss ambitions.  Breakfast, as the name of the meal explains, is the breaking of the night’s fast.  Your body has been sleeping, and recharging during the night’s sleep.  When sleeping your body is conserving energy, and partially shutting down.  This partial shutdown slows your body’s metabolism.  The body doesn’t start to metabolize and burn energy, which is how your lose weight, until it takes in some form of nutrients.  That is one of the many reasons why breakfast is essential to losing weight.  Once you eat breakfast, your body will start to burn energy, and prepare for the daily load ahead of it.  </p>
<p>Breakfast foods, especially foods that are prepared in a hurry, can sometimes be huge landmines to a healthy diet.  Many times breakfast foods can contain a large amount of calories and fats.  While it is usually good to eat foods at breakfast that will give you energy, it is important not to over indulge and eat foods that will sink your calorie count before the day starts.  Fast food breakfasts should be avoided at all cost, also it is important to stay away from foods with high sugars.  Breakfast cereals, breakfast drinks, and breakfast smoothies are all items that can contain a high amount of fats and calories in very small servings.  </p>
<p>Breakfasts that will give energy, and will help in your diet should include items that are low in fats and sugar.  Eggs, oatmeal, fruits, and healthy cereals are all items that can be consumed on a regular basis without killing a diet.  Another item that should be thought about around breakfast time is protein. </p>
<p>Protein supplements are a good way to get your day off on the right foot.  Whey protein supplements are dairy based, so they won’t be hard to digest and will help your body to metabolize at a higher rate.  Whey protein isolates also contain a higher ratio of pure protein than concentrated mixtures or soy based proteins.  Along with a good exercise program your body will use the protein to create lean muscle.  Lean muscle besides adding to the aesthetical beauty of your body, will also burn calories during its creation.  This helps people to lose more weight.  Whey protein should be taken in the morning with breakfast, and right before sleep as both times are ideal for helping your body create lean muscle.  </p>
<p>When trying to lose weight, remember, there isn’t any reason to starve yourself. There are much more effective ways to lose weight.  Through some smart decisions like eating breakfast and adding whey protein to your diet, you will have success.</p>

Health and nutrition advocates often encourage people to change diets or exersize in order to lose weight.  This has led to a variety of unhealthy dieting, fasting and weight loss surgery.  None of this has proven completely effective.  In fact, 90% of people who diet wind up back at the weight they started, sometimes heavier.  However, correlations between premature death and many health-related diseases have been found among obese individuals (although many argue that there are just as many health-related problems among those with alledgedly ideal weights, and that nutritionists do not appropriately consider the individuals lifestyle and exersize habits before pointing the finger at overweight).  What do you think?<br />
Maybe my question is unclear: What I mean is, why do we advocate WEIGHT LOSS per se, as opposed to simply healthy living/eating?  Do you think a person who is physically active and eats healthily is still at risk if they are not losing weight?<br />

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Losing weight is a complicated topic. Weight Loss may refer to the loss of total body mass in an effort to improve fitness, health, and/or appearance. Nutrition is very important in managing. Exercise is important in any weight loss program especially if you want to lose the weight permanently. These programs work by increasing the rate at which you burn off calories and if you burn more calories than you consume then your body will start conv<span id="more-175"></span>erting fat into energy to make up for the shortfall. Atkins diet is an amazing weight loss program, where you will never go hungry again yet still lose extra pounds. This is not a gimmick, it has been around for decades now. Eat all of the meat, cheese, eggs, fats (like butter and oils) as you like. </p>
<p>Eliminate carbohydrates from your meals. The amazing thing is that you will feel better mentally and physically while doing this program. Use minimal amounts when preparing food. If you must use oil then use a little olive or canola oil. Drink fruit-flavored water instead of a 16 ounce soda. Avoid foods with pastry such as pies, sausage rolls, croissants, cakes, etc. Avoid sausages, bacon, and processed meats such as salami, pepperoni, devon, etc. Swimming is great for you, and a lot of fun, too. The water resistance means you burn more calories, and you avoid the stress impact on joints from aerobics, dancing or walking. Skip the butter on your baked potato. Choose a diet moderate in sugars. A diet with lots of sugars has too many calories and too few nutrients for most people and can contribute to tooth decay. </p>
<p>Only snack on low fat, high fibre foods such as fruit and vegetables. Eat a variety of foods to get the energy, protein, vitamins, minerals, and fiber you need for good health. Choose a diet low in fat, saturated fat, and cholesterol to reduce your risk of heart attack and certain types of cancer and to help you maintain a healthy weight. Carbohydrates provide energy, help regulate how the body uses fat for energy, and spares protein. Vitamins have no calories and are needed only in small amounts. They regulate body processes that promote growth and maintain health and life. There are fat soluble (vitamins A, D, E, and K) and water soluble (B-complex and vitamin C) vitamins. Choose a diet moderate in salt and sodium to help reduce your risk of high blood pressure.</p>
