A busy lifestyle can make it impossible to get to the gym for a daily workout, prepare your meals ahead of time, or even to remember to pack your lunch for work each day. Being in a rush can make it difficult to stick to your diet when it&#8217;s so easy to grab something at the drivethrough. Here&#8217;s a collection of hints and tips from <span id="more-200"></span>other busy women that will help you stay on your diet despite all the temptations.</p>
<p>Don&#8217;t try to &#8216;save time&#8217; by eating on the run, or snacking at your desk while you work. No matter how rushed you are, take the time to eat like a civilized human being, to quote my mother. Set the table, put your food on a plate and have a meal. You&#8217;ll eat less and feel fuller &#8211; and not feel the urge to snack because you &#8216;haven&#8217;t eaten anything all day&#8217;.  </p>
<p>Cook just what will be eaten. Ignore all those homemaker articles that suggest that you &#8216;cook for tomorrow&#8217; to save time. Cook one portion per person at each meal. That way you&#8217;ll avoid the temptation to finish off the leftover &#8211; and teach your family healthy eating habits.  </p>
<p>Get up early enough to eat breakfast at home. The morning rush to get ready may make it tempting to grab something on the way to work, or skip breakfast entirely. Don&#8217;t do it. You&#8217;ll end up eating up all that saved time &#8211; and a lot more calories &#8211; with midmorning trips to the snack machine, or fight off the blahs all morning long. Stock up on easy breakfast foods. A piece of fruit, a container of yogurt and a slice of toast are a healthy, balanced start for your day.</p>
<p><a rel="external nofollow" target="_blank" href="http://www.dietsreviewedonline.com">Most diets</a> suggest that you drink at least eight 8 ounce glasses of water a day. If the thought of drinking a half gallon of water makes you queasy, there are ways to make it more appealing. Stock up on flavored bottled water in the fridge at work and keep one icy cold on your desk. At home, float mint sprigs or lemon slices in a crystal pitcher. There&#8217;s no added calories, but oh what a difference in presentation and flavor!</p>
<p>Trying to <a rel="external nofollow" target="_blank" href="http://www.dietsreviewedonline.com">lose baby weight</a> can be frustrating. You want to take it off as quickly as possible &#8211; but your body may not be cooperative. Keep in mind that your body is designed to nourish a child for up to a year after you give birth. Putting it on a starvation diet will kick it into survival gear, making it even harder to lose the extra weight. Instead of fighting your body&#8217;s natural tendency to store up nutrition for the baby, eat healthy portions and increase your activity level. And if you&#8217;re breastfeeding, remember that your body needs up to 1000 more calories a day than usual. Don&#8217;t skimp &#8211; you&#8217;ll just convince your body that it&#8217;s starving.  </p>
<p>Employ the buddy system for moral support. Making a pact with a friend to exercise together makes it easier to stick to your resolution. Instead of meeting with friends for lunch, challenge friends to a tennis game, or take a brisk walk in the park together. </p>
<p>Remember that a healthy, active lifestyle and a nutritious diet are the true keys to losing weight permanently. By choosing a diet that makes sense for your lifestyle, you&#8217;ll make it easier on yourself to lose weight, and keep it off for good.</p>

While some of these weight loss plans are not healthy, and can even be dangerous, there are some fast weight loss diets that can actually work. The key is to find a diet plan that stresses healthy eating habits instead of indicating that a person must only eat a certain food group or cut calories to dangerous levels in order to lose the weight. Here a<span id="more-180"></span>re a few helpful hints to help you decide when searching for a diet plan that will fit your lifestyle best.</p>
<p>Being healthy is important &#8211; Fast weight loss diets should be safe or they are not worth trying. A safe diet should include all daily recommended allowances of vitamins and minerals, as well as protein and fiber. Not following nutritional guidelines can lead to malnourishment and other long term health problems.</p>
<p>Get enough calories- It is very important to not cut your calories too low. By cutting your calories to less than 1,000 per day for woman and 1,600 per day for men, you can cause irreversible harm to your body. Never go below this number per day or for long periods of time. Cutting your calories too low can cause your metabolism to malfunction, thereby stalling your weight loss efforts. It can also cause many other side effects that can do more harm than good.</p>
<p>Eating fruit and veggies &#8211; If you find fast weight loss diets that stress eating fruits and vegetables, they are probably going to work well for you while making sure you are not jeopardizing your health. Fruits and veggies provide many vitamins, minerals, and fiber which are required for optimal health.</p>
<p>Low fat is what you should aim at &#8211; Low fat diets stress the negativity of fats in the diet. While it is true that the body does need a little bit of fat every day, consuming even a moderate amount of fat per day can lead to many health problems, including heart disease, stroke, high blood pressure and more.</p>
<p>Taking dairy product is important- low fat dairy products are actually good for you, contrary to what some diet experts say. Dairy is great for curbing the appetite, provides much needed calcium to the body. Studies show that by consuming foods such as yogurt, cheese, and milk can slow the formation of fat cells and boosts the metabolism.</p>
<p>Eat moderate meat- or at least some kind of protein. Protein helps the body to build and repair tissue and muscles, make hormones and other imperative functions throughout the body. Remember though, that too much animal protein can cause damage to some of our vital organs, and should only be eaten in moderation, if at all.</p>
<p>Be sure to research the diet you choose before deciding on any diet. As always, before trying any of these or other fast weight loss diets, it is very important to visit your doctor so that you can be sure you are healthy enough to diet in this way.</p>

Does this sound good?<br />want to lose some weight, but I had a reeeally hard time doing that after I had my son. I gained 45lbs with this pregnancy, and I was 30lbs over weight already. I&#039;ve lost some weight just from having the baby and losing the extra water weight, about 19lbs so far. </p>
<p>I exclusively breast feed, so I don&#039;t want to affect my supply. That&#039;s my top priority right now. </p>

I&#039;m currently eating about 2000-2100 calories a day and drinking about 80 ounces of fluids a day, though I&#039;m shooting for 100 ounces. I haven&#039;t started working out yet, but I plan on doing about 30 minutes of cardio a day nearly every day as soon as I feel up to it. </p>

<p>I know what you are thinking &#8220;Easy Weight Loss Plan&#8221;, Ya, Right! As a doctor I am always been given information by patients on this and that diet or strategy and it can be unbelievably confusing. </p>
<p>Even as a doctor, I am confused. I have taken all sorts of course on nutrition and health and to be quite honest it is all a little over the top for me.</p>
<p>I hear all sorts of great evidence to support eating carbs, not eating carb<span id="more-166"></span>s, eating lots of protein and not eating any protein especially from animal products.</p>
<p>While creating more information for my blog, I can across a program that at first looked like another diet but when I actually read through the material, it absolutely blew me away.</p>
<p>The concept that you have to completely resrict what you eat and how much you exercise is completely false, and I sort of already had that feeling.</p>
<p>Heres the thing, eating more or eating less is not the key it is timing your eating so that you maximize your metabolic burn.</p>
<p>This explains a lot for me as a doctor because there are many times I have patients who say they have lots weight yet spent the last two days at a buffet table.</p>
<p>If you want to lose weight you need to cycle through consuming more food with less food. Our bodies work and function like waves they are sometimes up and sometimes down.</p>
<p>If you can figure out when to ride the wave and when not too, you have figured out the harmonic balance of the body.</p>
<p>A simple test is to spend a couple weeks exercising on a regular basis everyday doning your favorite activity, but go through periods of eating more calories followed by periods of eating less calories.</p>
<p>Monitor you weight everyday and make note of when your weight starts to drop is it on days after you eat more calories or on days when you eat less calories.</p>
