Nutrition/Weight Loss/College Student/Help!^_^?Here's the skinny(haha). I'm living on campus this summer, since I got a couple of decent summer jobs. I'm saving up money to get a better computer, as well as have a little extra money for when school starts up again. So, I don't have a lot of money to spend on healthy meals. I'm also trying to lose about 15 pounds, mainly off my thighs and flubbery upper arms. I get lots of exercise, since one of my jobs involves me walking around the entire campus 3 times a week to clean off posterboards(fun…). Does anyone know of any healty meals I can make that don't cost a lot of money to get the ingredients for? BTW, I don't live close to a grocery store, so fruits and veggies are an occasional treat for me. I could get frozen stuff, but how healthy is it?

Lots of dumbasses do that kind of shit. Honestly nurtitional changes, along with exercise, and lifestyle changes should be the FIRST step in treating your symptoms, and if that isn't enough you should start taking meds. People are just too lazy in this day and age…here take this pill, it'll make you feel better! Yeah right.
Also WHO THE FUCK is giving everyone thumbs down? And to the one woman who said nutrition doesn't help, I simply don't believe you, you need to be healthy in body, to really help treat your minds problems. I suffer from some horrible disorders, longer than you could even imagine, and I have to say nutritional changes,exercise,etc help a great amount, of course they aren't the solution for people who seriously have problems, they do help.
There are academic programs called Health Psychology which focus on the relationship between health, mind and body. Sports Psychology is another academic program that's similar to this.

At such a young age it can go either way in the general health field. By the time you get your Master's Degree you should have enough proven stability that most of the time it won't be a HUGE issue, but it may always make things a little harder than if it never happened. In the Mental Health or Psychology fields it will often be seen as an asset, not a hindrance.

That way you'll have a more explicit list of books to review before you run to the library, or you could ask your local children's librarian if they have a particular section of children's books on disabilities for you to browse through (most library's do). There's a huge spotlight on autism right now & many new books writen for children to explain.
