Help answer the question about fast weight loss

What is a good diet for fast weight loss?
I run 5-6 miles per day at least 5 days a week so I don't need exercise tips. I am not fat either (5'7", 135lbs). I just want to slim down for the summer. I kinda suck at diets but I can dedicate myself to something that will give me fast results so any advice in that direction will be greatly appreciated. Thanks! :)

  • if you eat fish stick with tuna it's healthier than chicken. I have lost 17 lbs in the past 7 weeks. I go to the gym every day. i run three miles, then I go on the stair master for 45 minutes and do 20 minutes of lunges and crunches,and lift weight every other day. I do Bikram or hot yoga four morning s a weak that's 90 minutes of class. If you want to do it from home my favorite at home exercise program is winsor pilates i do the 20 minute video every morning. I went from a size 6 to a 2 doing this.
    I eat three slices grilled polents for breakfast and 1/2 cup 2% cottage cheese.
    then I have a bananna and 2 low fat string cheeses
    lunch I eat a large leafy greans salad and 1/2 cup 2% cottage cheese
    snack number two i eat more fruit a plum, orange what ever
    dinner i have vegtable soup or instant miso soup with added tofu and about 2 cups shelled steamed edemame beans.
    I drink only water. no cafine
    If you eat tuns you could put tuna on you salad
    protein will make you feel fuller faster and for longer than carbs.
    and make sure to get 8 hours of sleep a night or you'll be more likely to over strain and injur your self.

    I have been on several diet in the past, but I have always gained the weight back of failed before I reached my goal. This year I got the much needed motivation and determination (especially after I got some not so good blood work back) to finally stick to a diet and I have been successful. I started on the Weight Watchers program in January of this year and I have lost almost 40 pounds so far. This is one of the only diets that has worked for me in a while, I have been on nutrisystem, jenny craig, south beach, but they were just too restrictive for me.

    I think what used to hold me back was the willpower and motivation to lose weight. I mean I have always wanted to lose weight, but I never had to drive to do so and it made me quite frustrated at times. I think that getting my blood work results back and well as some comments from some not so modest individuals really served as a catalyst for me this time. Now there are times that I still struggle to continue, especially because I deal with emotional eating, but I just forge forward and think about all the benefits.

    One of my favorite quotes that keeps me going is:

    "Nothing tastes as good as being healthy feels"

    Wow, I feel so happy for these people. I loved the girl who had writing on her photo “size 10 pants” “I DID IT!” And the weight loss couples! The video and song gave me such great motivation to keep going to reach my goal!

  • I had a lot of friends swear by Metabolife, but it'll throw you off for a few days and make you jittery- I personally couldn't stand them.
    Otherwise, the new fad is Green Tea pills or anything with Hoodia. However, while there are a lot of pills out there claiming to have Hoodia (cactus extract) in them, in reality this extract is relatively rare and pills that have an appropriate amount of Hoodia in them are pretty expensive ($30-$60 for a few weeks' supply).

    The kicker is my mirror and my favourite pair of jeans, seeing old school friends who have become fat and neglected their appearance, also I want my kids to be proud of their mum and my husband to continue to be attracted by me! I'm a determined person and I won't give up on something until I've reached my goal. You just have to know what's good for you and take it as a challenge.

    Oatmeal. It makes you poop a lot and lose weight pretty fast. If you want to go extreme, use water to cook it, not milk.

    Eating just plain oatmeal isn't healthy in the long run. Add nuts, fruits and use milk sometimes.

    As for drinks. Water is the best. Truly is.

    This is a very effective tip here:

    Eat big lunches, small dinners. Eating a big lunch gives you time to burn off those calories. After a dinner? You most likely will be in a bed in a couple of hours, not much time to burn off those fat calories.

    And of course, exercise. This is very important. Walk 10 minutes day. Then go for 20 minutes. Then go for some light jogging. You need to exercise to lose weight. There is no magic pill to help you lose weight. The most natural way to lose it…Exercise and eating more effectively.

    FORCE yourself to walk/jog everyday, at least 10 minutes…for 3 weeks. After 3 weeks, you'll get into a pretty pernament habit of doing this routine everyday. DON'T exercise for 1 day, skip day 2, and promise yourself that you'll do twice as much on day 3. Stick to everyday.

  • When U eat something automatically ur liver produce this liquid to ease the process of diegures food items, When u eat the gum the same process happen but No body home to ur liver, but it keep producing this liquid as ur mind sending the signal automatically like u eat something..

    So its really harmful for the walls of ur liver which is so sensitive.. Is it gud for ur diet programme? ask ur self…
