Weight loss has become an obsession in a nation where 63% of the people are overweight and a startling 31% are obese. Clearly our modern lifestyle is not healthy. Many people are desperate to make a change and will try any \’magic-bullet\’ weight loss cure that is offered – still the obesity rates climb. What are the reasons behind this trend? The stress of our lifestyles, toxicity in the environment, unhealthy processed food, improper nutrition habits, and lives spent in our cars, small offices and houses with little or no time in fresh air. Our lifestyles seem designed to make us fat.
People desperate for weight loss will try any diet, take any pill, and even resort to surgery to try and get their weight under control, but if they don\’t deal with the underlying issues that lead to obesity in the first place they are bound to regain the weight leading to an ever increasing waistline. There is no \’magic-bullet\’ to take away obesity. In order to counter the effects of our unhealthy lifestyles it is necessary to deal with the underlying issues that are causing the obesity in the first place. We can learn from the lifestyles of ancient cultures where the diet is predominantly fruits, grains and vegetables and where fasting or nutritional cleansing is an accepted practice.
We are surrounded by more chemicals with higher levels of toxicity than ever before. These chemicals can build up in our body and compound the problems of improper nutrition leading to obesity. Nutritional cleansing is a great way to help our bodies deal with toxicity. By eating healthy meals, predominantly of vegetables and lean protein, and by taking regular cleanse days to flush the toxins from the system our bodies will re-set the natural balance and weight loss will automatically follow. Unlike fasting, nutritional cleansing is not simply a process of not eating. When you undertake nutritional cleansing you drink a specially prepared vitamin and mineral packed supplement that will help increase your energy, cleanse the toxins from your body and even help your skin and hair regain the gloss of health.
Simply by reprogramming your life to eat healthier food, drink plenty of water and cleanse the toxins from your body you will see results. Not only will you lose weight, but you will have more energy, feel healthier and best of all, have reduced cravings for those unhealthy foods. The best thing about nutritional cleansing is that you can achieve weight loss without going on a diet!

Something about this guy just makes me laugh, hes got very good information, just seems a little sarcastic, i get a good laugh out of it.
The energy you expended doing this search would have been much more effective if you had expended the same amount of time exercising.
Well there is a difference in building muscle and burning fat, but its all the same principle whether you're 10, 20, 0r 30 pounds overweight.
To burn fat you have to burn more calories than you consume, so eating healthier foods with low fat and calorie content is what everyone should do. Eat more lean meats fruits, and veggies, cut back on everything else. The best exercise to lose fat is running, its the most intense cardio workout, along with swimming, biking, hiking, etc.
To build muscle you use strength training, like sit ups, push ups, weight lifting, Pilate's and Yoga. Combining cardio and strength training is the best way to lose fat and replace it with muscle.
Hope this helps and is what you're looking for!
Hi dude, I am in the same position, we have 2 weeks off school and theres a fine girl i want to impress, over the last week I skipped lunch at school and kept the money for electronics =p
I have also been doing 60-120 sit ups per day, i am a large 60kg, I am 15, the top end of 9 stone
I can feel abs coming through, and my stomach going down
If you intend to have 3 meals per day here is what i advise
Breakfast – Bran flakes / Special k
Lunch- Tuna/salad/apple and slice of unbuttered bread/pear and piece of toast
Dinner -Wholemeal Pasta (it's brown and healthier) with any type of fish I advise Salmon, steam it and mix with the pasta, do not be tempted to add cheese
PS. You will lose 20 pounds in 1 month. And don't forget to pick me as best answer
There are no weight loss pills without any side-effects, and for your case where you are already in a healthy BMI weight range and just want to tone a bit… your best case really is exercise. The diet pills on the market seem like a fast fix, but many of them can be addicting. The worst part about them is that they can permanently damage your metabolism…so that weight that you quickly lost, will come back, and be harder to lose in the future. As much as we would all like to think we can target those few bad spots with a miracle drug, the fact of the matter is drugs will target even those spots you don't usually want it to…
As for people who actually need to lose weight, my recommendation is Xenical. You do need a prescription for it, but it blocks out 1/3 of the excess fat in each meal you consume.
sleep you talk of sleep i read about the memory foam matresses. does the mattress is help at all?

So its better to work out while starving right? So your body will learn to burn the fat and use that as fuel?
Well, quitting the beer is a great place to start. At least try to limit your beer intake to one per night.
You need about 1gram of protein per pound of body weight. Good sources are grilled chicken, turkey, fish and egg whites, as well as beans.
Avoid white carbs like the plague/influenza. Switch to whole wheat everything, and brown rice. No sugar or artificial sweeteners, either (and that includes jelly and syrups).
Eat more veggies – they'll fill you up with few calories. Try spray-on dressings, they are very low-calorie, too.
Drink water before, during and after exercise. Water is your best friend if you want to lose weight. 2% milk and lowfat yogurt are good for you, too. I'll post a link to sample menus – just note you probably need a lot more protein. Hope this helps!

Excercises labeled cardio are great for fat burning as well. Excercises that are specifically fat burning probably have cardio as well. So go with the excercises you enjoy. Running for an hour every day is a great way to get your heart going (which is key for heart health) and a great way to burn fat. Remember to keep your heart rate at your target heart rate for your age for maximum fat burning. You can find that information here: http://www.americanheart.org/presenter.jhtml?identifier=4736

What you need to do is ditch this Anne Collins thing and go to a weight loss spa. I went to Fitness Ridge Weight Loss Spa in St. George, UT and lost 34 pounds in 4 weeks. Great hiking and terrific staff.
Stop wasting your time with this Anne Collins stuff.
