DIET vs EXERCISE Episode 1: Fat Loss Diet versus Best Cardio Workout to Burn Belly Fat

I know what you are thinking “Easy Weight Loss Plan”, Ya, Right! As a doctor I am always been given information by patients on this and that diet or strategy and it can be unbelievably confusing.

Even as a doctor, I am confused. I have taken all sorts of course on nutrition and health and to be quite honest it is all a little over the top for me.

I hear all sorts of great evidence to support eating carbs, not eating carbs, eating lots of protein and not eating any protein especially from animal products.

While creating more information for my blog, I can across a program that at first looked like another diet but when I actually read through the material, it absolutely blew me away.

The concept that you have to completely resrict what you eat and how much you exercise is completely false, and I sort of already had that feeling.

Heres the thing, eating more or eating less is not the key it is timing your eating so that you maximize your metabolic burn.

This explains a lot for me as a doctor because there are many times I have patients who say they have lots weight yet spent the last two days at a buffet table.

If you want to lose weight you need to cycle through consuming more food with less food. Our bodies work and function like waves they are sometimes up and sometimes down.

If you can figure out when to ride the wave and when not too, you have figured out the harmonic balance of the body.

A simple test is to spend a couple weeks exercising on a regular basis everyday doning your favorite activity, but go through periods of eating more calories followed by periods of eating less calories.

Monitor you weight everyday and make note of when your weight starts to drop is it on days after you eat more calories or on days when you eat less calories.

Then it is a matter of mastering the weight loss with your cycle. You can find a more detailed explanation at easy weight loss plan

i have no idea why they would suggest no caffeine. Caffeine is a proven fat burner and there are litterally thousands of studies to back that up. special diets like that come and go. increasing caffeine intake is the way to go to cut body fat. just dont over due it.

Don't try any pills, they don't work, it's a money-making business. Honestly the best way to look at it is, "What did I or didn't I do that made me gain this weight?" and then do the opposite. Which in most cases is changing your eating habits and exercising. "Diets" don't work, you have to change your eating habits. Trust me. Did "diets" for 8 yrs. I've been eating better, cutting down on carbs, especially sweets since sugar slows down the metabolism, and doing cardio exercises. I've lost a healthy 20 pounds in the last 2 months. Sorry, alcohol would have to be cut down if not eliminated, empty calories.
My mom has been doing what is known as the Sacred Heart Soup Diet on and off for the past year and a half. She was just over 400 pds. She has lost just over 100 pds, but she has also changed what she eats and she goes to a gym 3 – 4 times a week.
There is also fasting, but should not be taken lightly. It gives your metabolism that break to fix itself and kick-start again when you do start to eat solids again. It has many other benefits too, like cleaning your body of toxins (which also affect your metabolism), a "healing" of your body and the organs…etc.

  • The best yogurt for weight loss is one that is low in sugar. As well, chose one that has no added sugar, fruit or artificial sugar. Greek yogurt is typically your best choice. I usually buy plain yogurt and add a handful of blueberries to it for flavor.

    Resveratrol and Weight Loss

Resveratrol Antioxidants and Weight Loss: A Good Pairing? The golden rule in weight loss is pretty simple: take in fewer calories than you expend in exercise. However, as any dieter will tell you, it’s far from easy. Americans spend billions of dollars a year on weight loss supplements, exercise programs and other diet aids—and still we can’t seem to win the battle of the bulge—even when we get desperate enough to try risky surgery or fad diets.Recently a new product has come to light that may help people trying to lose weight stay on the healthy end of the spectrum: Resveratrol Select, which is unlike many diet supplements in that it uses a combination of natural and herbal ingredients designed to help the body stay healthy while losing weight. How? By mimicking certain aspects of the Mediterranean diet.Studies have shown that part of America’s war with weight lies in the uniquely modern American combination of stressful lifestyle and fast-food consumption, and that the Mediterranean diet and lifestyle seem to be more conducive to healthier weight levels and longevity. In fact, much as been made on the news in recent months of the purported “French Paradox,” (how the French eat a high-fat diet, enjoy rich desserts, drink wine and still have better cardiovascular health than the rest of us). One of the biggest differences between the American and French diet seems to be the wine consumption, and red wine (a staple on most Mediterranean tables) contains one of nature’s most powerful antioxidants, resveratrol, which is a key ingredient in Resveratrol Select. In addition to wine, resveratrol is also found in grape skins, blueberries, cranberries and other plants, and recent animal and in vitro studies indicate that it can have a positive effect on helping to maintain healthy cholesterol levels, supporting insulin health and optimizing metabolic and immune pathways that protect cells and improve mitochondrial function. * And one capsule of Resveratrol Select includes as much resveratrol as 200 glasses of wine—without the added calories that alcohol can add to the waistline. But consuming resveratrol alone isn’t enough to help with weight loss—so the manufacturers of Resveratrol Select also added a different type of antioxidant, Green Tea Extract (EGCG), which could make a big difference. Over time, green tea consumption helps increase metabolism, burn fat and reduce fat storage due to its caffeine and L-theanin content, which can be pivotal in helping to maintain energy for exercise. *Resveratrol Select combines these two powerful antioxidants with yet another energy boosting ingredient, Chromium, a niacin-based mineral that plays an important role in how the body uses insulin to burn sugars, carbohydrates, fats, and proteins for energy.*Although relatively new to the market, Resveratrol Select seems to be making a big splash, and many people are taking advantage of the free trial offer to see how well the product works for them. The trial offer also includes two bonus tools to help with weight loss: an e-book with over 70 weight loss tips, and a weight loss visualization audio.Of course, consuming fewer calories while burning more is the most efficient form of weight loss, and it’s always a good idea to inform your doctor before taking a weight loss supplement, but this new combination herbal supplement is worth a look for those concerned about maintaining good health while losing weight.
