Amber on Atkins: Week 8 & 9 ~ “Deviation”

Using a weight loss calculator can help you determine, to the exact number, how much weight you have lost due to your weight loss plan. Many people swear by a weight loss calculator because it provides them the accurate numbers they need to complete their weight loss goals. It also helps give them a good indication as to where they are headed if they continue their current course of action. Using a calculator to determine your weight loss is a great motivating factor if actually seeing the numbers drop or go up is a way in which you are motivated to lose weight.
Other people are not motivated by actually seeing the numbers of their weight loss cruise by on a calculator or a computerized mechanism of any sort, so they rather keep a general basis marking of what it is they need to achieve and rely on scales to get there. In other words, they would rather intermittently weigh themselves instead of having constant calculations of their progress. It really, in the end, all comes down to personal preference in terms of whether you decide to use a weight loss calculator or not and actually ends up revealing an awful lot about how you intend to lose weight.
The Basics Of The Device
You can start using your weight loss calculator the instant you get it out of the box. It will calculate your goal weight and your actual weight and begin to deliver state of the art attempts at telling you how much you will need to lose by when to get to your goal. It will even logically try to measure out what you will need to lose in amounts coupled with times, so that you can accurately see if you are on track towards your weight loss goals. It calculates body types and other elements, too, to give you as close to an accurate weight loss estimation as possible.
You should, of course, remember that a weight loss calculator is just an estimation of weight loss and cannot at all accurately guess exactly how you will end up in terms of weight loss. You can, however, use it as a rough guide for yourself and determine how much weight you need to lose and how you need to lose it with its assistance. This is the best function it can offer you because using it for an objective source is simply not going to work out.

What is good weight loss plan for a pescetarian?I am a pescetarian, meaning that i am a "vegitarian" who eats fish. I am looking for a weight loss plan that will help me lose some weight while still not eating any meat other than fish.

i totally buy the nyquil bit.. there is a lot of alcohol and sugar in that stuff!
hmm, like what i see at 5:06 !
I did south beach and I lost about 50 pounds in not even 3 months. And I've kept it off for almost 2 years now. I found it to be the easiest diet because it pretty much told you what you could and couldn't eat and you didn't have to count points or anything like that. What I lost really isn't typical for the amount of time I did it but I know others who have done it and they got really good results from it as well.
You need to go to therapy to find out what the underlying cause may be. it has to be more than a craving…maybe a hormone imbalance or something medically or mentally out of whack. you need to start exercising and eat fresh fruits/vegies, berries and fiber when you want to eat the junk food. occupy your time with reading, walking, hanging out with friends, etc. attend church. having God on your side always helps.
Great.i was a pescetarian myself some years ago..take steamed fish with oatmeal for dinner(you may season it with pepper and a drizzle of sesame oil, and do add eggplants and carrots by the side)…do stick to your regular dose of veggies n fruit…do keep a limit on soy products because too much soy raises estrogen in your blood and that will be enough to limit your body from burning excess fat… Fatloss4idiots diet plan really help me generate a diet plan with the food that i choice. It's really helpful. Hope this help

Best Wishes,
Great question as most people get the wrong idea about weight loss pills. These pills can be dangerous if used in excess, however if used according to directions you can lose weight with little to no risk. Pills can be expensive, unless you know where to look. About a year ago I had trouble losing weight so I browsed online for solutions and came up with pills. I weighed my options and came up with a pill called Proactol. It's cheap and effective. I've included a link in my sources.
Good luck!
The basics of weight loss are not as complicated as people make it out to be. You need to simply change your diet to healthy whole foods, fruits and veggies and get plenty of exercise.
This is hard to do for most of us because we are tempted with junk foods all the time.
If you want a structured diet plan that will tell you the types of food that you can eat and when you should eat them you can find diet plans that will do that at

It's all depend on which weight loss program that you incorporate in order to achieve your ideal weight. A healthy weight loss program is one which does not make you lose weight in such a manner that your health is spoiled. Starvation is not a worthy way to lose weight because most people will fail to abide to the program rules after a certain period.
Many such programs and diet plans go overboard in their attempt to make people lose fat rapidly. Fad diets or starvation diets are a definite no-no. There are so many harmful effects of starving yourself and not eating properly. And many times you would not lose body fat with such fad diets, instead you will lose water weight. Similarly – low carb diets, low protein diets etc. that make you eat only a certain kind of food and not others are also not a very good method of weight loss.
Previously I have joint a weight loss program and I manage to achieve an average weight loss of 7 lbs in every 10 days. Although the weight loss seems not substantial but the thing is that I’m able to sustain my ideal weight since 5 years ago. Best of all i don't need to starve myself to death.

I understand the problem with meds and weight gain. Going through it myself. However, I would not risk any supplement etc. This is because they may have something in them that could trigger a manic state. Supplements are not required to be tested by the FDA and we don't always know what is in these supplements and what might trigger an exacerbation in our symptoms. I do agree with the other poster about exercise. It is sooooo hard to do. I seriously have problems with staying motivated but my 15 year old (also bipolar) excercises everyday and she actually weighs less AND she eats whatever she wants. She just gets a lot of excercise and it works. Hope that helps.
I plan on doing a “deviate” day as well, but not until I reach goal, and have moved through the other phases of Atkins. Greg also does a lot of exercise, so this helps him to continue with such great success and still have his “deviate hour” I personally can’t deviate because it’s too hard for me to get back on track, but if you are able to, then do what is best for you!
Great job getting back on track!
If you are really looking for the best weight loss diet, I suggest doing what this mom did, combining the Acai diet with a cleansing program for the best diet result

The trick of losing weight is to fool your metabolism into thinking it is getting fed normally. If you try to lose weight by starving yourself, then your metabolism kicks in to low gear and hangs on to every scrap you feed yourself, making weight-loss impossible.Plus, after you have managed to starve yourself and not die,the minute you start eating again, your body sucks up every calorie it gets, and you pack the weight back on.
If you want to lose weight, which is a very difficult thing to do,you have to eat proper food:grains;veggies;low-fat meat./fish;drink plenty of water;and do some exercise. It sounds very simple, but it is very hard to do when you are de-toxing your body from fats and sugars.
Ask your doctor for an appropriate food plan for you.Don't use or think of the word"diet." It only serves to defeat you because it implies deprivation. And as humans,we do not like to be deprived of anything.
I might also suggest that you join a weight-loss group, like Overeaters Anonymous,or better still,a group like Weight Watchers.it is easier to lose weight if you are partnered with people who have the same goal as you.
Good luck to you,and eat healthy!!
PS:If you are a young person and need to lose weight:Start now because with every year,it becomes more and more difficult to lose weight and keep it off.Take the word of an old geezer.I know whereof I speak, sadly.
